The promised step-by-step master class "how to crochet a five-pointed star ". For example, to collect knitted stars in a garland, which then (or already now!) To hang on a Christmas tree. However, the garland will fit perfectly into the interior of the nursery, hallway and porch. I apologize for the quality of the photo - Stars from acrylic did not want to be removed. I hope the text explanations and arrows will help to understand the process of creating stars.

Connect the connected stars alternately with a chain of air loops. The distance between the stars is about 25 VP, attach the top of each sprocket to the main thread with a connecting column. Start and finish knitting a garland with loops from 10 VP. A garland of five-pointed stars is ready and asks for a Christmas tree!

Crochet asterisk - knitting pattern

Knitting techniques and cuts in the description:

Friends, I’ll say right away that the little star connected by me is a little different from the scheme ...

Lush bollards with stars

But somehow I wanted to crochet the snood more. In my opinion, it will be faster, and interest in knitting needles has already faded away. I found a very beautiful snood with asterisks, but the scheme for it was completely incomprehensible to me. A little googling, I found a description, but it turned out not at all like in the photo. And then I found a detailed video on how to knit stars with lush columns. You can see it below. Just in case, I’ll explain the principle of creating such a pattern with my photos.

Snud with a star pattern Here is a scheme proposed for this snood But if you knit on it, this is what

And if you knit, as the craftswoman advises in the video below, you get very beautiful magnificent stars.

Agree, a very beautiful pattern, and suitable for at least a child, at least an adult. I’ve already started work, and now I’m sharing what I get. Later I will supplement the article with ready-made photographs of the snud.

Necessary materials:

  • acrylic yarn - 1 skein (100 grams),
  • hook number 2.75.
These are the acrylic threads I used for my snud One skein left - 100 grams

First, we knit a number of lush columns, the width of the product will depend on their number. I knitted 10 magnificent columns. (In the course of work, she confused the front side of the work with the side, as a result, the width increased by 2 more magnificent columns 🙂)

10 main magnificent columns and 11 columns for rise

Then we need to knit another magnificent column for lifting.

And now we knit three magnificent columns with one vertex. To do this, we collect lush columns at the vertices of the 11th, 10th and 9th columns (the loops in the photo indicated in red) and close them with one loop. At first it will be difficult and slow, but already in the third row I got my hand in hand and it turned out pretty quickly.

We collect a magnificent column at the top of the 11th column .. Then a magnificent column - to the top of 10 columns And a magnificent column to the top of the 9th column Close all columns with one loop

We knit in this way to the end of the row. After we unfold the work and again knit a lush column for lifting. And then again three magnificent columns with one peak. We continue knitting to the desired length of the snud.

The row is over, now we are expanding the work ... ... we knit a lush column for lifting and then according to the above scheme Lush stars are already visible Future snud with asterisks, while so much has been contacted))

As promised, I supplement the article. Here's a universal snood turned out - suitable for both an adult and a child. In general, I knitted for myself, but my son said that it was his “scarf”, but for me, only 🙂

Lush crochet snood

Very beautiful snood from air columns of yarn with a color transition. Agree, it looks very beautiful. I even regretted that for my snud I first bought the strings, and then I began to look for options.

Another beautiful snood of lush columns The knitting pattern for it (if you figured out the "stars", then everything is even simpler)

Volume snood with a beautiful and simple pattern

A year later, she decided to supplement the article with another beautiful pattern. A snood with asterisks looks very beautiful, but in the process of wearing it revealed one minus - threads from lush columns are drawn. And since there is Velcro on the hood of a children's jacket, they are pulled very strongly. Here in this article, there is a photo with a stretched "star" snood. Therefore, there was a need to tie a new snood for the son. I wanted the pattern to be voluminous, but at the same time strong enough. I was looking for a very long time, even already beginning to despair. I came across either too complicated, or vice versa - too primitive options, or thin and with big holes. But still on YouTube I stumbled upon this wonderful video, which tells in great detail how to knit bulk snood, and the pattern is very beautiful and durable. Even the threads are the same as mine. 🙂 Many thanks to the author of this video, I am happy to share it, and also offer my MK with step-by-step photos on knitting such a snood.

How to tie a snood: my step-by-step master class with a photo

And here is my master class on knitting a bump with "bumps" shown in the video above. Still, it’s more convenient for me to quickly navigate through the photo than to revise and rewind the video for a long time in order to remember something. To snood was denser, knitted in two threads. The threads are exactly the same as for a snout with asterisks. We start to knit a snood not from an ordinary chain of air loops, but from a chain of half columns. Such a chain looks prettier and stretches better. To make it easier to see and understand, especially for a photo on a blog, I connected a chain of half columns in one string.

We collect a chain of 2 air loops and thread the hook into the first loop Pass the hook into the first loop and pull out the loop We knit an elongated loop (air loop) We crochet and knit two loops on the hook together (with an air loop) Through the loop shown by the arrow, we pass the hook and ... ... pull the loop We knit an elongated loop (air loop) We crochet and knit two loops on the hook together We repeat the same thing: we pass the hook into a similar loop (marked with an arrow), stretch the loop, knit it, and then knit two loops together It turns out here is such a beautiful and elastic chain of half columns

We knit a chain of half columns of the desired length. My chain is 66 cm long. Knitted for a 4-year-old child to wear over a winter jacket with a hood. If you want the snood to be two turns, the length of the chain should be 2.5 times longer. You can tie a chain, pretend to be yourself or a child and tie the required length.

We close the finished chain into the ring with connecting loops, we knit 2 air loops for lifting and then we knit, as shown below. (I forgot to take a picture of the beginning of the row with the airy lifting loops, therefore several previous “bumps” are already knitted in the photo, but knitting the whole row is identical to the first “bump”, so I think everything will be clear).

We skip one loop on the chain and thread the hook into the next (marked with an arrow) Pull the loop We knit it with an air loop We make a crochet ... Pass the hook into the same loop on the chain and pull the loop We make a crochet and knit all the loops on the hook together We knit one air loop

Then again we skip one loop on the chain and knit in the same way. Repeat until the end of the row. In the third and each subsequent row we knit in an identical way, but with a small nuance, see photo below.

We knit each "bump" behind the diagonal thread (the arrow indicates where to put the hook) Here from this place we knit our "bumps" in each row

Due to the fact that we will knit behind the diagonal threads shown above, the pattern on the snud will go in a spiral.

We knit in this way to the desired height of the snud. I knit 23 cm so that the snood can be worn doubled up.

Here is such a beautiful pattern And this is the wrong side of the snud, also very beautiful My beloved boy in a new snud

We have been wearing snud for a month now and are happy. It does not deform, the threads do not stretch. Very beautiful, tight and warm!

Embossed Snood

I also liked this snood from embossed columns. An interesting pattern and gray yarn make this snud look like a silver chain. Or just it seems to me 🙂

Crocheted scarf from embossed posts Such a snood can be connected for a man Scheme for snood How to knit embossed posts

Description

For work, you need a hook number 4,5 and thick strings. Tie a chain of 200 stitches. Knit the last two loops together (199 stitches will remain). Next, knit as follows:

  • 3 rows - embossed elastic
  • 3 rows - a relief path,
  • 5 rows - embossed elastic
  • 3 rows - a relief path,
  • 3 rows - embossed elastic.

Alternate rows of gum and track as much as you like. The knitting is simple, and the result is very beautiful!

Crochet asterisk - knitting description

Making a sliding loop

1 row - 3 lifting VP, 4 VP, then we knit in the lifting loops in a row: 2SS2N, CCH and CCH for the sliding loop, then we knit * 4 VP, for the last column of the previous petal: 2CC2H, CCH and CCH for the sliding loop *, repeat * * three more times. Only 5 petals - five rays of the future stars. We close the row with a connecting column with the 4th loop of the lifting loops. And tighten the ring ... 2nd row - judging by the scheme, the lifting loops are no longer made here, but simply a loop on the hook is extended to the height of the column (there is such a way to start the row) ... The whole row consists of single crochet columns sparse with air loops in the place of the tip of the star ray. We knit: 4СБН, 3ВП, * 8СБН, 3ВП *, ** repeat three times, 4СБН, SS.

3rd row - similar to the second, consists of single crochet columns and air loops. But, half-columns appear here, there are decreases (missed loops that are not knitted) and, in addition, the columns fit into the back loop of the loop (which is farther from you). This technique is used when crocheting gum, remember?

Of course, it’s absolutely not necessary to knit like that, you can just make ordinary single crochet posts for both half loops ... (that's how I knitted my first starlet, but the second one ... already RLS behind the back wall - this technique allows you to make decorative stripes on a knitted fabric ... try !))))

They pulled out a loop, 3СБН, note that the first RLS of the third row fits over the second column of the second row and behind the back wall - did not forget?)))

Next, we knit the following combination “SBN, PSB, 3VP, PSB, SBN” under the arc from the bottom row VP,

Continue * 3СБН, skip 2 loops, 3СБН and again the combination under the arc “СБН, ПСБ, 3ВП, ПСБ, СБН” *, repeat ** three times, 3СБН, СС

4 row - Extend the loop, 4СБН (the first RLS of the fourth row fits over the second column of the third row of the row). Next, we knit the following combination “SBN, PSB, 3VP, PSB, SBN”, * 4СБН, 2 loops, 4СБН, combination under the arc “СБН, ПСБ, 3ВП, ПСБ, СБН” *, repeat ** three times, 4СБН, СС

5 row - a loop, 5СБН (the first СБН also with a shift), for a combination of an arc, a combination of “СБН, ПСБ, 3ВП, ПСБ, СБН”, * 5СБН, 2 loops to skip, 5СБН, a combination for an arc “СБН, ПСБ, 3ВП, PSB, SBN "*, repeat ** three times, 5SBN, SS

Where, where are you, a bright little star? ... And here she is!

Did you notice how my knitted starlet differs? ... That's right ... between the rays I didn’t make chains of the air loops indicated on the diagram, but simply skipped the loops in the bottom row

Crochet starlet is ready!

But, if you remember, before us the initial task was to tie the needle bar.

How to crochet a needle needle in the shape of an asterisk

Crochet another star. You can use the same color, or you can change the color (optional).

This time I decided to add stripes to make the product look more fun ...

We fold the parts with their faces outward and connect them using double crochet posts. Do not forget to fill the needle bar as the motifs are stitched together.

It remains to make a loop - it can be a simple or double chain of air loops, laces or just a rope ... And I also tied the product around the perimeter with connecting posts with a contrasting thread ...And here is the result of my efforts - a cute little crocheted needle-case - an asterisk!

In my opinion, it turned out well.

And what do you think?

By the way, as a use case, you can impose such motives on the New Year and decorate the Christmas tree with them.

Friends, if you liked my work and the description for it, do not find it hard to push the buttons of social networks - it’s not difficult for you, but I will be pleased)))

And finally, listen to a wonderful song ... no, not Boris Moiseev)))
